Martin P. Mathias

Martin P. Mathias, CPA, CFE is a Vice President at Capital Valuation Group specializing in business valuation and forensic accounting litigation support services. Marty enjoys meeting with business owners and advisors to work strategically on business valuation matters.

His professional experience includes practicing public accounting for more than 20 years at a regional CPA and financial services firm before joining the team at Capital Valuation Group in 2021 and becoming a shareholder in 2023. Marty obtained his BBA degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire.

Speaking: Marty enjoys speaking to business owners and advisors about viewing business as an investment. He is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and can speak about identifying and preventing fraud in accounting practices.
Boards & Community Leadership: Marty is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Marty is also a past board member of Canopy Center, Inc.
Beyond Work: Marty enjoys cooking, woodworking, traveling, reading, and spending time with family.
