Jane M. Tereba
Jane M. Tereba, ASA, CPA, is President of Capital Valuation Group specializing in business valuation and litigation support services. Jane enjoys that Business Valuation is an analytical challenge, provides continuous learning, and requires a deep dive into financial statements, market conditions, and industry trends. But even more, she appreciates the opportunity to interact with a variety of stakeholders to learn about each client’s strategic position and potential to ultimately see the impact the team’s work can have on clients’ business and life decisions.
Her professional experience includes over 15 years of public accounting prior to joining Capital Valuation Group in 2014. Jane obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
Speaking: Jane shares years of real-world experience as she teaches a variety of topics relating to business valuation and litigation support. Boards & Community Leadership: Jane is currently Vice President of the Jim B Lemon Foundation, a member of the Audit Committee for the Madison Community Foundation, and sits on the boards of the Monticello Foundation and Wisconsin Bank & Trust. Jane is also a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, WICPA (Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants), Leadership Greater Madison 20, and FCG (Financial Consulting Group).
Beyond Work: When Jane is not at work, you will most likely find her carting her three kiddos around to their various activities. If she gets to have a day to herself, her first stop is either the tennis court or golf course!
