David B. Mitten, MBA is a Vice President at Capital Valuation Group specializing in business valuation and litigation support services. David enjoys learning about a variety of businesses and industries and working with owners projecting the future of their businesses. He likes to help people understand that business valuation is based on what a business will likely do in the future, not a multiple of what it has done in the past.

David’s professional experience includes modeling business risks and opportunities at a company that transitioned from a mid-sized family-owned company to being part of a public company, and then a multinational company in just a few years. This helped him hone these skills, which he now uses to the advantage of clients as they go through important transitions and work to reach their business and life goals. David joined Capital Valuation Group in 2020 and became a shareholder in 2021. David obtained his BA degree in psychology from Olivet Nazarene University and his MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
